David Saidat began CocoBon Chocolatier when his favorite chocolate shop went our of business in 2002. With a passion for chocolates he grew up with, he set about learning the processes to make the same kind and improve on the chocolates he loved.
Chef Dave has a keen mind for marketing and an ability to develop food products everyone loves. Although his background is not originally in food, he has developed a strong following for both his sweets and his savory food offerings.
Pictured here, Chef Dave is in his daily dress favoring the style of the vintage confectionery shop he created. He has won a national award for one of his truffle flavors, has met with many Food Network personalities and has worked as a guest with Jacques Torres in one of his shop in New York City.
He has launched two brands and created over 100 unique chocolate products.
