David Saidat began CocoBon Chocolatier when his favorite chocolate shop went out of business in 2002. With a passion for the chocolate he grew up with, he set about learning the processes to make chocolates in the style he new, and improve on what he loved.
Chef Dave has an ability to develop food products everyone loves and a keen mind for marketing. Although his background is not originally in food, he has developed a strong following for both his sweet and savory food offerings.
Pictured here, Chef Dave is in his daily dress favoring the style of the vintage confectionery shop he created. He has won a national award for one of his truffle flavors, has met with many Food Network personalities and has worked as a guest with Jacques Torres in one of his shops in New York City.
Chef Dave has launched two brands and created over 100 unique chocolate products.
